There's a park in St. Joe just off of Hwy 75. They do camping (donation basis last I checked)... but they've got enough room to play ultimate. Then there's a sweet back part of the park that is ideal for CTF. So like, 25th (sat) we could go out there late afternoon play Ultimate. Then grill (cook over the campfire) set up tents. Play Capture the Flag once it gets dark. I know the police drive through occasionally so it may not be the best place as far as underage drinking but there's lots of trails and such to escape to.
Compared to my place which would allow for a large fire (providing we get a bit of wood). Possibly a projected movie and music. On the edge of a small lake. Tenting. Enough room to throw a disc around but that's about it. You shouldn't have to worry about cops but know that I don't necessarily condone of drinking till you throw up.
Ian's place would be close to campus. Never gets busted. Beer pong tables. I'll let him elaborate.
Not so sure the Alumni game is going to happen before this Fall. Do alumni want to come to this party?

There will be a social event before the end of the School year.
We'll also elect executive board for next year at this gathering

Ian's place sounds like its more for partying than Joe's place.

If by 'partying' you mean 'House Partying' where we all have a good time through drinking plenty. I agree 100% that Ian's place is more fitting for the location.
I am offering my place because I don't think our team socializes well through drinking events. And I'm not just talking about Ward. There's a number of people on the team that don't drink a lot and I think we'd have a better time as a team if drinking wasn't the main activity at the end of year party.
btw. Sam, I'm not your Dad. And it's not like I'm going to cut you from the team or anything. I'm just saying I don't want people throwing up at my place because in my mind that takes the fun out of it for a lot of other people. Besides I don't know why you've got a problem with my statement, I'm pretty sure Will's the only one I've seen drink that much and I'm pretty sure he's voting for my place.

Please note that I realize nothing gets solved or planned by polls and asking people "what time works for you?"
In my head right now I am planning on doing it at my house, the idea of having it at the St. Joe Park is kind of my back up. But if Ian wanted to host it and took initiative I would switch my efforts over and help his hosting be successful. I don't expect this poll to help plan anything I'm simply doing it out of curiosity. Please expect this to happen and bring a friend or two.
why am I questioning if I can do it at my house? I have very little free time right now and it would require some prep work to give the team the party it deserves and needs.

I fail to see any good reason to not have it at Bees'. Bonfires are WAY more fun than house parties. I think I can claim a very high level of expertise on both. If the only reason not to have it at Joe's is because he would rather you didn't puke there, then I feel like people ought to be able to work with that.
Joe, you should come over to Cory's for a practice bonfire tomorrow.

Easy killer. I only made my comment in hopes that other people would state their opinions. I could really care less.

It's going to be my place... I think I'm going to invite people from Swing club and basically whoever I want. In hopes of it being a decent sized party that isn't all guys.
